Satmar and Moshiach

I was perusing this article about the inevitable Satmar feud resulting from the death of the Satmar rebbe and saw this quote.

A supporter of Aaron’s, Isac Weinberger, claimed Wednesday that meetings would be taking place in Israel, England and upstate Monsey at which Aaron would be declared “the rebbe of Satmar until the Messiah comes.”

Well, if the Messiah turns out to be the Lubavitcher rebbe, then maybe not. Sorry, couldn't resist. :-)

Passover Foods That Just Don't Work

My wife recently purchased for Passover two foods that are desgined to simulate chametz foods but just don't quite make it: Kosher for Passover frozen pizza and macaroni and cheese. Needless to say, I let my wife and kids be the guinea pigs for those and needless to say, they didn't go over very well (or down, for that matter). As my friend put it, "You can't go for eight days without a pizza?"
